Indonesia-based Derazona Helicopters has placed an order for one Airbus Helicopters’ multi-role AS350 B3e rotorcraft, which will be deployed for utility missions.
Derazona Helicopters business development manager Ramadi Widyardiono said: "With our acquisition of this AS350 B3e, we are looking to expand our capabilities and provide better, more comprehensive services to our customers.

Upon being delivered this December, the single-engine Ecureuil family rotorcraft will be tasked with performingn a range of missions that include transporting external cargo loads, long-line operations, firefighting and general heli-lifts.
The single-engine AS350 B3e helicopter is capable of being deployed for intense operating conditions, including at very high-altitudes and temperatures, while to transport heavy loads and carry out a wide range of missions.
Being an improved version of the Airbus’ AS350 Ecureuil family, AS350 B3e is powered by an enhanced engine and features latest interior design that enable additional ease of piloting and maintenance.

According to Airbus Helicopters, about 17 Ecureuil family helicopters are currently in operation in Indonesia and its Indonesian subsidiary offer has been offering in-country support for both governmental and civil clients.
