The collaboration marks a significant step in Flair’s strategy to minimise its carbon footprint.

Flair Airlines interim CEO Maciej Wilk said: “At Flair, sustainability is more than a goal—it’s integrated into our operations, network planning, and brand promise.

“As Canada’s greenest airline, emitting up to 28% less carbon per seat than our competitors and the only one to share monthly emissions data, we’re thrilled to partner with Azzera and leverage the CELESTE platform. Together, we’re taking measurable steps toward a greener future in aviation.”

Azzera’s CELESTE platform supports emissions measurement and mitigation.

It offers aircraft operators a comprehensive approach to emission management, including data validation, compliance market segregation, automated compliance reporting, and direct access to purchasing compliance credits and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

The automated system provided by CELESTE categorises each flight into the correct compliance market, enhancing overall operational effectiveness.

This platform will enable Flair to accurately monitor flight emissions, manage SAF usage, and utilise carbon credits to lessen its ecological impact.

CELESTE’s API connection allows for CORSIA compliance, transforming a process that once took months into one that can be completed in hours.

This efficiency is crucial for Flair as it seeks to allocate more resources towards further sustainability efforts.

Azzera CEO and Founder Puja Mahajan said: “We’re excited to support Flair on their journey to Net Zero. With CELESTE, Flair is setting a benchmark for sustainability in Canadian aviation. Our shared vision is to reduce aviation’s environmental impact through advanced technology and innovative solutions.”
