The company explained the production centre was expanded to add the assembly lines for its Argus Air Self-Boarding/ Security & Lounge products. It currently employs 60 people and serves the Indian market for Dormakaba.

Dormakaba revealed it was partnering with security scanner experts Rohde & Schwarz on an “innovative”  automatic body scan product, with its automatic gates integrated for added security.

“This self-screening is a new approach but is based on mature technologies, products, and solutions within the Dormakaba portfolio and the portfolios of the other companies involved in the project,” the company said.

The product is currently being tested in Las Vegas airport, and Dormakaba said further airport tests would be carried out around the world.
