The announcements in Frankfurt include a passenger tracking product called AeroCloud Optic, which was first launched in March last year. The system is claimed to be the first of its kind to use CCTV and AI to allow airports to manage passenger flows and experience.

The tech firm has also branched out to physical infrastructure with a new range of self-service passenger terminals. The two products, Self-Service Bag Drop (SSBD) and Self-Service Check-In (CUSS) kiosks work with “AeroCloud’s Common Use Passenger Processing System Manager (CUPPS)” to synchronise management of passenger and air side operations.

On the software side, AeroCloud Billing is a new module introduced to the company’s existing AI-assisted airport management system (iAM). According to AeroCloud, “this automates and streamlines airport billing for airport services, including loading bridge usage, fuelling, hangar storage and more”.

George Richardson, co-founder and CEO of AeroCloud, said: “Legacy technology cannot cut it anymore and that’s why AeroCloud continues to be the fastest-growing platform of its kind.

“We’re supporting the fastest-growing airports worldwide through lower cost of ownership, rapid implementation and world-class customer service. That’s in our DNA. I am extremely proud of our team for delivering new innovations that support our 360 experience that’s benefitting our customers worldwide.”
