The airport’s Terminal 3 can handle an additional 22 million passengers annually.
The deliveries will include new x-ray screening and metal detection equipment and CCTV system among others for the two airports.
Malaysia Airports has also upgraded its Baggage Reconciliation System.
The solution will be tested at the security facilities of AGS Airports.
This new biocorridor can screen approximately 30 passengers per minute for health-related risks.
As of now, the airport has 58 CAT units at its security checkpoints.
