VINCI Airports completes upgrade at Belgrade Nikola Tesla airport

Works on the first phase of the apron C extension have also been completed.

VINCI Airports has completed modernisation works at Belgrade Nikola Tesla airport in Serbia, with the airport’s Terminal C put into service.

Covering a surface area of 13,600m², the new pier offers 13 additional gates, increasing the total number of available gates at Terminal C to 19.

This includes eight new airbridge gates and five bus gates to the airport.

VINCI Airports said that the works on the first phase of the apron C extension have also been completed, with 27,000m² of apron capacity and four additional positions for aircraft parking added, including one for wide-body aircraft.

With this upgrade, the airport also features an open space at the boarding area, as well as travellators, which are expected to ease and expedite passenger flow.

In addition, a solar power plant featuring 3,000 photovoltaic panels has been completed.

Once operational, the solar facility will have the capacity to generate 1,200,000kWh of solar energy a year, which will be supplied to Belgrade airport.

The solar plant will support VINCI Airport’s target to achieve net-zero emissions across its network by 2050.

In a statement, VINCI Airports said: “After joining VINCI Airports’ network in 2018, Belgrade airport has received in 2021 its first Airport Carbon Accreditation certificate, as well as its first airport service quality (ASQ) award, delivered by ACI.

“Building on these achievements, VINCI Airports will fully complete the modernisation works in 2023.

“They will include the extension passenger terminal, additional boarding bridges and gates, a new inserted runway and the complete renovation of the existing runways.”

Despite the lack of real money casinos in New Zealand, Kiwi players are not left behind. These establishments have great bonuses and rewards for their loyal customers. New Zealand players can take advantage of these offers and play real money games while enjoying the rewards of a great casino. If you are thinking of joining one of these establishments, here are a few of the most common advantages: First of all, you can enjoy a free demo of popular casino games on online gambling sites in New Zealand. This way, you can sample your favorites and learn the rules. Furthermore, online gambling sites in New Zealand are available on mobile devices as well. In fact, most of the platforms are mobile-friendly. Although, you may find a smaller variety of games on mobile devices than on a desktop. You can also play games that don’t require downloading software to play. You can also use your own bank account to deposit and withdraw your winnings at online casinos in New Zealand. Many of these casinos support NZ Dollar deposits and withdrawals, but if you prefer to use your own currency, you can save money on international bank transfers. You can even withdraw your winnings to a credit card or spend them at brick-and-mortar stores. Just make sure to avoid scams and be careful when selecting online casinos in New Zealand. Playing casino games for real money online is exciting and challenging. But if you’re not ready for the real thing, you can always enjoy free practice mode on the best NZ online casinos. With the advent of technology, it’s never been easier to play your favourite casino games. All you need is a laptop, an internet connection and a bit of patience. However, real money gaming isn’t for everyone. You may want to try out the demo version first to make sure it’s for you.

VINCI Airports said that the objective of this upgrade was to increase the airport’s efficiency, as well as environmental performance.

Last month, the company agreed to sell its 90.1% stake in Stockholm Skavsta Flygplats, the owner of Stockholm Skavsta Airport in Sweden, to real estate company Arlandastad Group.
