“At Menzies, we are committed to investing in innovative solutions, such as our recently launched robotic inventory checks and digitalisation of flight packs, and Wipro’s platform will ensure we can utilise cutting-edge systems and products in the years ahead.
“This agreement will enable end-to-end digitalisation of our operations, process standardisation, consistent customer service, and enhanced employee experience, which is hugely important in attracting a new generation of cargo professionals.”

By GlobalDataThe partnership is said to further bolster Menzies’ position as the market’s leading cargo handler.
It is also expected to enhance the competitiveness of the firm, which acquired a majority stake in Jamaican ground and cargo handling company AJAS last month.
Wipro claims that its product will offer more cargo location visibility to Menzies and its clients, as well as support scanning technology for cargo and documentation, thereby improving real-time tracking.
It will also allow future warehouse technologies such as robotics, autonomous vehicles and true paperless environments.
Menzies plans to make the Wipro product available in five air cargo locations by the end of this year.
These locations are Bucharest, Romania; Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland, New Zealand; and Macau, China.
The firm also intends to deploy the solution across its global network by the end of 2024.
Wipro UK & Ireland managing director Omkar Nisal said: “Wipro is delighted to partner with Menzies Aviation, a global powerhouse in aviation services.
“This collaboration enables us to leverage Wipro’s extensive technological capabilities, coupled with Menzies’ vast cargo-handling and management experience, to deliver a product that will help revolutionise the air-cargo industry.”
