Heathrow commissioned Ultra, as acknowledged experts in systems integration, to provide a process methodology and governance structure around HAL's systems integration policy. Specifically targeting the use of the UltraIB, Heathrow's ESB of choice, a common information model was implemented that was used to understand, document and simplify the integration policy and to standardise the process for lifecycle management of all clients/subscribers on the ESB.
