The number of roles in Europe made up 44.2% of total cybersecurity jobs – up from 32.2% in the same quarter last year.

That was followed by North America, which saw a -4.9 year-on-year percentage point change in cybersecurity roles.

The figures are compiled by GlobalData, which tracks the number of new job postings from key companies in various sectors over time. Using textual analysis, these job advertisements are then classified thematically.

Which countries are seeing the most growth for cybersecurity job ads in the airport industry?

The fastest growing country was Poland, which saw 1.6% of all cybersecurity job adverts in the three months ending July 2021, increasing to 24.1% in the three months ending July this year.

That was followed by Canada (up 2.3 percentage points), Sweden (1.6), and Germany (-0.8).

The top country for cybersecurity roles in the airport industry is the United States which saw 25.6% of all roles advertised in the three months ending July.

Which cities and locations are the biggest hubs for cybersecurity workers in the airport industry?

Some 20.7% of all airport industry cybersecurity roles were advertised in Chorzow (Poland) in the three months ending July.

That was followed by Montreal (Canada) with 2.8%, Chicago (United States) with 2.6%, and Dallas (United States) with 2.6%.
