Wanzl

Around 4.3 million passengers per year can now benefit from the first-class travel service provided by Wanzl after recently delivering 365 Travel 300 luggage trolleys to Liverpool Airport.

On the move with a Travel 300 around Liverpool Airport, you are guaranteed to meet John Lennon – in the form of a bronze statue of the city’s most famous son, which stands in front of the check-in area. Named after the celebrated idol – Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) – based in the Northwest of England, Wanzl rolls to the Liverpool beat and the rhythm of The Beatles.

LPL chose the steel tube design for the Travel 300, with a sturdy luggage support needed for a busy airport. This outstanding and reliable model is popular worldwide and with significant load-bearing capacity and plenty of space for luggage, this trolley is also directionally stable and agile on the move.

The maintenance-free, self-adjusting brake mechanism ensures a secure stop whenever it is needed and there is space in the separate basket for hand luggage. Travel 300 trolleys have a minimal nesting distance for when they are not in use, saving on storage space in busy environments.

Equipped with the Duraloc coin deposit system for collecting and returning the trolleys at this site with Wanzl installed row docking keys for the Duraloc box for the nine guide rails, as well as retrofitting other locations. The Wanzl Travel 300 trolleys, in the Liverpool John Lennon Airport, are CI design, providing plenty of space for customised advertising lettering that can be quickly and easily replaced.

Head of the Wanzl Airport business unit, Michael Tscharntke said: "We are a globally leading supplier of luggage trolleys, and understand what our customers want – first-class equipment that makes airport processes easy and convenient."
