NATO is the latest in an ever-more illustrious list of customers who have put their faith in atg and the pioneering Clearway LED taxiway guidance signs.

Approached by representatives based in Afghanistan, the organisation requested easily portable airfield guidance signs that could be used at sites across the world. atg took on the challenge, adapting the existing design in order to maximise the portability of the signs and best meet the needs of the customer.

The use of LEDs to provide the necessary illumination will significantly improve the lifespan of the sign while the 24V DC electrical connection allows the sign to be powered from a battery or mobile solar cell. The use of terra spikes to secure the signs in place, coupled with the lightweight aluminium extrusion, provides maximum mobility for the sign while maintaining the robustness and structural integrity needed to comply with all international standards.
