The leading fibre optic security systems company, Future Fibre Technologies (FFT), was recently awarded the nation’s highest exporting accolade at the 48th Australian Export Awards, receiving the award night’s top honour, the Prime Minister’s Australian Exporter of the Year.

The National Export Awards win follows the success at the 2010 Government Security News (GSN), winning the Homeland Security Best Perimeter Protection System Award for its leading fibre optic perimeter intrusion detection system FFT Secure Fence™. FFT won the same award for its zone-based perimeter security system Secure Zone™ in 2009.

CEO of FFT, Rob Broomfield, said these awards recognise FFT’s international achievements in advanced fibre optic-based security systems. “These awards recognise FFT’s global leadership position achieved through our focus on innovation and product quality,” he says. “And the enormity of the market means exciting growth potential for our products in the future.”
