HOK has been selected to design a regional transit centre and passenger processing facility at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada.
The first phase of the new facility is expected to be in place by the mid-2020s.

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) operates and manages Toronto Pearson International Airport, and chose HOK to carry out the work.
As part of the work, HOK is responsible for all phases of the development of future airport facilities to meet projected passenger growth.
The development is set to offer appropriate passenger facilities and reduce road congestion in the region.
Toronto Pearson is set to handle as many as 85 million passengers annually by 2037, as forecast by the GTAA. The operator is beginning the planning of the new facility to support growth.

The design team includes WSP Engineers and Weston Williamson+Partners and is led by HOK.
Work will involve consultation with different stakeholder groups, including airport partners, the government and local community members.
