Shell Aviation, global supplier of aviation fuels and lubricants, has officially launched its refuelling operations and fuel storage management at Seletar Airport in Singapore.

As well as providing refuelling services, Shell will also use its experience in working with big and small airports to improve overall airport safety and refuelling operating standards.

This move comes after Shell won a ten-year contract to act as a sole provider of refuelling operations and fuel management at Seletar Airport.

Shell now provides fuel at both of Singapore’s civilian airports: Seletar Airport and the Singapore Changi International Airport.

Shell Aviation vice-president Xinsheng, Zhang said: "Shell is proud to play a part in serving Singapore’s growing traffic of commercial airlines and business jets."

Seletar Airport is currently managed by Changi Airport Group and supports international aircraft charters, private flights, medical evacuation, flying schools, business jet operations, maintenance works, repairs and overhauls.
