Singapore Changi Airport has handled 4.37 million passengers in May, marking an increase of 2% when compared with the same period last year.

During the month, the airport reported a 1.7% year-on-year rise in air traffic to 28,930 flight movements, while the airport handled 3.5% more cargo that reached 157,500t.

Among the top ten country markets of the Changi Airport, Hong Kong and Vietnam recorded double-digit increases.

Due to the political situation, traffic to and from Thailand decreased by 17%, while Bangkok and Phuket traffic dropped by 24% and 7% respectively.
