Copenhagen Airport in Denmark has reported a year-on-year increase of 8.3% in June’s passenger traffic, reaching more than 2.5 million passenger numbers.
During the month, 98,674 passengers have travelled through the airport, which represents 4,000 more than the previous record set in earlier in the year.

Copenhagen Airport CEO Thomas Woldbye said with its large-scale conversion and expansion of Terminal 2, in addition to the baggage facilities in the last few years, the airport could absorb the growth and give a good start to its passengers.
"With approximately 100,000 passengers passing through the airport in one day, it goes without saying that things were more than just busy in the terminals," said Woldbye.
International traffic during June increased by 8.5% and the number of transfer passengers was up by 19.4%, while domestic traffic also increased by 5.9%.
