Lockheed’s new project comes in the wake of its acquisition of BEONTRA in March and this is the first time that this technology will be used in the Middle East.

"It is a special honour for Lockheed Martin to welcome Bahrain International Airport."

The use of this technology will allow airports to develop and build route cases using data from Sabre MIDT and OAG schedule data, in addition to airport survey and statistical information.

The graphical format that is delivered as a result of the use of this technology helps in getting improved analysis and collaboration.

BEONTRA CEO Christian Roth said: "It is a special honour for Lockheed Martin to welcome Bahrain International Airport as the first airport in the Middle East using B Route Development."
