Aviage Systems has selected Flextronics to manufacture integrated modular avionics (IMA) cabinet units to support commercial aircraft programmes in China.
Under the contract, Flextronics is providing supply chain solutions to Aviage Systems from its site in Suzhou, China.

The AS9100C aerospace-certified facility is equipped with a latest lab, and delivers failure analysis, product qualification, test, and manufacturing design solutions for the aerospace industry.
The IMA Cabinet, a key subassembly, is part of the core avionics system of an aircraft, interconnecting flight controls with the jetliner’s other subsystems, and requires a wide range of components that include high-precision card cage, multiple backplanes and large cable assemblies.
