Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt, in Berlin, Germany, has selected Cassidian to extend its Tetrapol digital radio network to cover its outside premises.

Under the contract, Cassidian will deliver, install and maintain an indoor radio system for the new airport’s Tetrapol network and BOS digital radio system.

Cassidian will extend the system to connect the airport’s security control centre to the radio network.

The indoor radio system will serve internal radio communications through the existing Tetrapol system, and will integrate the BOS digital radio system.

In addition, Cassidian will also carry out training sessions for airport staff to ensure the system can be handled efficiently.
