Quadratica (UK) has announced that it has been selected by Airport Management Services Limited (AMSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (HIAL), to provide x-ray object recognition training for their 11 airport locations throughout Scotland and the Scottish Isles.

Quadratica managing director Chris Grey noted, “We are proud to be contributing towards aviation standards in Scotland. It will be a privilege to work with the HIAL team to ensure customer safety and security.”

Alan Shaw, director of operations and safety for HIAL, added, “We are very pleased to be working with Quadratica on this very important extension to our security training. Within HIAL (AMSL) we take security very seriously and are always looking to ensure we work with the best providers possible for our employees and customers.”

HIAL is a company wholly owned by the Scottish Ministry and is sponsored by the Scottish Government’s transport directorate. The company’s purpose is to maintain the safe operation of the Highlands and Islands regions’ airports, and to support economic and social development in the Highlands and Islands.
