Entry Point North has carried out a runway safety programme in Qing Dao, China.

This course is designed for high-level operation management personnel from East China Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB), one of the regional air navigation service providers (ANSPs) in China, in response to a runway incursion accident that happened in Shanghai in 2018.

The three-day training programme delivered in May covered several case studies regarding typical runway incursion accidents and incidents, as well as a presentation on the regulation and support tools in the area of runway safety.

Entry Point North will keep working together with our partners in China to improve the safety level and to meet the challenge of rapidly increasing air traffic.
