Metron Aviation is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Antonucci to general manager and vice-president for commercial products and solutions, the commercial division of the organisation.

With an increasing global demand for more efficient air traffic flow management (ATFM) solutions, Metron Aviation is one of the forerunners of the flow management industry, meeting the needs of air navigation service providers, airlines and airports worldwide.

Reducing delays, fuel burn and CO2 emissions has helped customers, such as the FAA, Eurocontrol, AirServices Australia, FedEx, ATNS, United Airlines, SENEAM, and China ATMB, to maximise efficiency and improve operations.

"Commercial Products and Solutions grew out of the increasing demand for air traffic flow management products and services globally as air traffic increases have occurred in developing markets. Over the next two decades these needs will continue to grow and evolve. Mike’s strategic vision will guide the division’s continued success," said Paul-Franck Bijou, CEO of Metron Aviation and the Airbus ProSky Group.

Mike joined the organisation more than five years ago, and most recently held the position of vice-president of advanced research and engineering (AR&E), operations and engineering. Prior to joining Metron Aviation, Mike enjoyed a tenured career at Lockheed Martin. Buzz Campo, general manager and senior vice president of AR&E, will continue to oversee the AR&E division.
