Minsk National Airport in Belarus has deployed Rapiscan Systems’ Real Time Tomography (RTT) 110 Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) systems, as a part of the airport’s long-term investment and development of its infrastructure.
The RTT110 ultra high speed checked baggage inspection system can be easily integrated within existing baggage handling infrastructure.

Equipped with stationary gantry detection technology, the Rapiscan RTT can detect an increased range of explosive threats and prohibited items, such as liquid explosives.
RTT’s stationary gantry design eliminates traditional hold baggage screening systems that revolve detectors around an object, enhancing the system’s reliability, throughput and detection capability.
Designed to offer high performance at a lower overall cost of ownership, the RTT delivers detailed 3-D images of the objects being scanned at speeds up to 1,800 bags per hour.
The RTT 110 is certified to Standard 3 by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) for explosives detection systems.

In combination with the RTT, Minsk National Airport has also implemented Rapiscan’s 620DV and 628DV baggage handling inspection systems.
The 620 Dual View (DV) advanced checkpoint solution is certified to ECAC Standard 2 for Liquid Explosive Detection, while the 628DV has been designed to use for both out-of-gauge baggage and check-in screening applications.
