Vision-Box has already started trials of the new technology at GRU’s Terminal 3, and plan to install it in two more terminals by August.

Vision-Box’s technology features eGates, an alternative to the traditional and manual control of passports.

It will allow passengers to control their own immigration and emigration processes autonomously, without the need to interact directly with the Brazilian Federal Police, who will control the whole process remotely and intervene if any anomalies occur.

This advanced technology facilitates the authenticity verification of identification documents, offering a faster and less stressful experience for passengers. The system can be used by passengers that are over 18 years old and have a Brazilian electronic passport.
