iPass partners with TAV to offer free Wi-Fi to TAV Passport Loyalty Programme members
Provider of global mobile connectivity iPass has partnered with TAV to offer its Passport Loyalty Programme members free global Wi-Fi.
Paid as an annual subscription, the programme offers passengers greater speed and comfort at airports operated by TAV.
TAV's operation services general manager Matthew Recruiter said: "Today, it is important to stay connected. In cooperation with iPass, we are pleased to provide our members with unlimited and secure internet access."
iPass' vice-president for EMEA & APAC Mato Petrusic said: "In today's 'Wi-Fi first' world, being able to offer free and secure Wi-Fi access is a great way to engender customer loyalty.
"We are delighted to be working with TAV to bring the power of the iPass network to thousands of frequent travellers. This is a great example of a business seeing the value of offering premium customers global Wi-Fi access."
TAV's loyalty members will be able to secure free access to the iPass global network of hotspots in airports, hotels, cafes, train stations, inflight, and other public areas.
The service intends to make waiting at the airport a pleasant experience by offering privileges such as free car parking and valet services, discounted transfers, fast-track security points, and lounge access.
The programme currently has around 20,000 members and is available to visitors of TAV's network of airports, which includes Istanbul Atatürk (Turkey), Ankara Esenboga (Turkey), Izmire Adnan Menderes (Turkey), Tbilisi (Georgia), Medinah (Saudi Arabia), and Zagreb (Croatia).
