Passenger traffic at Vienna International Airport, Austria, increased by 7.7% year-on-year to stand at two million during September 2011.
Maximum take-off weight and flight movements for the month grew by 0.9% and 0.4%, respectively, while transfer passengers increased by 16.7% compared with same period last year.
Passenger traffic to Eastern Europe rose by 19.7%, Western Europe by 6% and the Middle East by 2.8%, while cargo volumes fell by 7.9%.
