INDMEX Aviation, a developer of airport and surveillance solutions has collaborated with OPEN Incorporated, the creator of the SafetyPAD suite for emergency medical services (EMS), to provide integrated airport EMS incident response system.
The integrated system will provide complete airport situational awareness, runway incursion warnings and records management enterprise system for airport first responders.
OPEN SafetyPAD Operations director Scott Streicher said that SafetyPAD is already deployed by Fire and EMS teams at some of the busiest airports globally.
"After speaking with airport operations directors and airport emergency responders, it was clear to us that there is an unmet need for solutions that solve ongoing challenges at airports resulting from increased operations by both aircraft and vehicles on the airport surface," Streicher said.
"With the INDMEX partnership, we will be able to fulfil that demand."
The combined solution will also boost efficiency, security and accountability for airport personnel through the deployment of the eSQUIDER Vehicle and Personnel Tracking System.
