Ifield Computer Consultancy (ICC) ATRAK-BS Automated Flight Billing and Statistics systems have completed a factory acceptance test for the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) State of Kuwait.

ICC trialled the system along with the customer and prime contractor Indra Sistema, which confirmed the system complies with the stringent requirements of DGCA.

ICC CEO George Parobek said that ATRAK-BS offers efficiency and flexibility in delivering accurate invoicing and a reduction in the billing cycle.

"The flexible and comprehensive features of the ATRAK billing system will ensure that DGCA has complete control over the billing and flight analysis process, and enables them to deliver a more cost-effective and comprehensive service to their customers and partners alike," Parobek said.

"ATRAK-BS offers efficiency and flexibility in delivering accurate invoicing and a reduction in the billing cycle."

Aimed at integrating, assessing and processing all relevant financial and technical parameters of flight traffic and ground services, the system combines data from flights, customers and fleets for automated invoice processing and generates statistics and reports, while integrating with finance systems.

As a complete flight billing solution, the ATRAK-BS system has been developed through ICC’s collaboration in the ATC/ATM environment, working with air navigation service providers, airlines and airport authorities in incorporating flight billing data, finance and accounting systems.

According to ICC, its technicians are capable of handling the structure and variance of both flight data and radar data processing, and the necessities of interfacing and cross-examining the captured data with equivalent financial, accounting and management accounting systems.
