Ireland’s Dublin International Airport has introduced Autopass, a new automated passenger screening system, at terminal 1.
The self-service system will reduce the security queuing time for passengers before boarding and will enable them to scan their own boarding cards to gain entry to the passenger security screening area.
Dublin Airport terminal 1 passenger services manager Catherine Barber said that although security queuing times at the airport are currently under seven minutes for 97% of travellers, the new system will further improve the flow of passengers.
