P assenger traffic at airports operated by Aéroports de P aris (ADP ) in France increased 1% in June 2012 to 8 million passengers when compared with the corresponding period in 2011.

ADP ‘s P aris-Charles de Gaulle airport handled 5.5 million passengers, reporting a rise of 2.3%, while traffic at its P aris Orly airport declined 1.7% to 2.4 million.

International passenger numbers, excluding Europe, increased by 3.2%, with an 11.3% rise in Asia-P acific traffic, a 7.9% climb in Middle Eastern traffic, 4% upturn in Latin America and a 2.4% rise in African traffic.

P assenger traffic from North America increased 1.4%, following a 5.4% decline in May 2012, while the French Overseas Territories reported a 9.1% decline after a sharp drop in capacity by some airlines.

European traffic excluding France reported a slight rise of 0.6%, while traffic within France declined by 1.9% during June due to a high comparable base, as traffic in June 2011 was 6.3% up.

During June 2012, the number of connecting passengers increased by 6.2% and the connecting rate rose to 23.2%.

The number of aircraft movements across ADP -operated airports declined 0.6% to 62,901 during June.

Since the beginning of 2012, ADP has reported a 2% rise in traffic, handling 42.8 million passengers; the number of connecting passengers increased 6.1% resulting in a 0.9% rise in connecting rate to 24.2% during the period.

P assenger traffic at TAV Airports, which are 38% owned by ADP , rose by 34.2% during the January-June 2012 period.
