P assenger traffic at Aéroports de P aris (ADP )-operated airports in France declined 0.4% to 8.9 million passengers in July 2012 when compared to the same month in 2011.
ADP ‘s P aris-Charles de Gaulle airport reported a 0.8% drop in passenger traffic to 6.08 million, while traffic at P aris-Orly increased 0.5 % to 2.77 million during July.
The airport operator reported a 1% decline in international passenger traffic, excluding Europe, while Asia-P acific traffic rose 5.4 % due to growing markets in China and Japan.
ADP ‘s French Overseas Territories’ passenger traffic registered a slight fall of 0.1% and other international routes including Middle East, North America, Latin America, and Africa reported respective declines of 0.9%, 1.5%, 2% and 4.3%.
According to the operator, European traffic, excluding France, was constant during the month, while domestic traffic rose by 0.3%.

The number of aircraft movements at ADP ‘s airports declined 1.1% to 65,398, with a 3.3% decline at P aris-CDG and a 3.8 % rise at P aris-Orly during July, when compared to 2011.
For January-July 2012, ADP has registered a 1.6% year-on-year rise in passenger traffic to 51.66 million, while the number of connecting passengers rose 5.1% with a 23.6 % rise in connecting rate.
Aircraft movements at ADP -operated airports declined 1.9% during the initial seven months of 2012 to 421,048, when compared to the corresponding period in 2011.
P assenger traffic at TAV Airports, which is 38% owned by ADP , have risen 33.8% to 31.42 million since January 2012.
