Mactan Cebu International Airport in the Philippines plans to upgrade eight of its airport systems as part of a new development programme.

The project includes upgrades to its airfield, navigation system, emergency and recovery system, cargo and maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility, and airport utilities.

The airport is also planning to construct a generation terminal, which will accommodate four new terminals for international and first-class flights, alongside renovating the existing passenger terminal.

The programme will be implemented by the Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA).
