Pitt-Greenville Airport in the US is to extend its terminal by 18,000ft² and conduct other improvements at the airport.
The airport recently held a ground-breaking ceremony for the $10m project, which began site construction in July.
The project is funded by a $7.6m grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and a $2.5m grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The development will also include a first-floor concourse with new escalators, elevator and stairs leading to a 12,500ft² second level, which will house a departure lounge and queuing area.
