The new terminal at Indianapolis International Airport in the US experienced a drop in passenger traffic by 10% during its first year of operations.

Accumulated passenger figures posted an overall decline with only 3.7 million passengers in 2009.

The $1.06bn new terminal at the airport began operations in 2008 and features new parking facilities, roadways and other airport facilities.
