The Tunisian Government says it intends to upgrade its air traffic control system at Djerba Zarzis International Airport as part of a modernisation effort.
Three new radar stations, each equipped with two primary and two secondary radars, will be installed.
The radar stations will enable the airport to increase its aircraft movements in any weather condition.
The upgrade will help in double its passenger capacity and also meet traffic demands of the future.
