Los Angeles Airport to Build Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Facility

Los Angeles International Airport is to construct a new aircraft rescue firefighting facility using a $10.8m grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The facility will cost $13.5m and is part of a wider initiative to deal with airport emergencies.
