Adelaide Airport in Australia recorded 6.9 million passengers in 2008/09 marking an increase of 154,000 passengers compared with 2008.

The airport’s overall traffic grew by 2.3%, with domestic passengers rising by 2.9% and international traffic increasing by 0.3%. Regional passenger numbers, however, declined by 2.7% in the same period.

A new multilevel car park and internal road realignment is planned for the airport, with work scheduled to begin by the end of 2009.
