Brazilian airport administration authority Infraero is undertaking a major network modernisation programme to improve the network infrastructure at 11 of the country’s airports.

Infraero has selected the US network infrastructure supplier 3Com to implement its H3C enterprise networking solutions in order to improve the airports’ performance and security.

The wired and wireless networks will be upgraded to cater to increased passengers volumes.

The first phase of the project includes upgrading more than 800 networks points across the 11 airports.
