Munich Airport Sees Passenger Volumes Drop in 3Q

Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport (MUC) in Germany experienced a drop of 3.6% in total passenger volumes during the third quarter of 2009. In the first six months of 2009, the airport saw an almost 10% drop, handling approximately 25 million passengers between January and September.

In the first six months of 2009, the airport saw an almost 10% drop, handling approximately 25 million passengers between January and September.

The number of take-offs and landings fell by 9% in comparison to the same period last year, which stood at about 300,000 flights.
