The $2.4bn Terminal 3 project at McCarran International Airport in the US is 44% complete as of today and is on schedule and within budget.
On completion, the terminal will have a total of 14 gates, a baggage handling system, a separate eight-level parking garage and an 83,000ft² concession area.
International traffic will be diverted from Terminal 2 to the 1.87-million-square-foot facility, which has six international gates.
Plans are also underway to shift airlines to the new terminal, which is expected to be open by mid 2012.
