Sensis Corporation in the US is developing a prototype decision support tool for airport operations.

The departure manager will estimate flight schedules and enhance airport productivity across the US.

The $1m project has been co-funded by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), which provided an investment of $499,751.

The departure manager also provides air traffic controllers and airline ramp managers with a tool to automate departure sequencing requests.
