London Heathrow Airport in the UK will offer dedicated terminals to each airline under a major reorganisation programme organised by airport operator BAA.

BAA revealed the programme, which is aimed at capitalising on future cargo and passenger growth, at the recent Routes forum held in Beijing.

Heathrow’s new Terminal 2 is expected to open in 2013 and will be serving Star Alliance Airline, while the refurbished Terminals 3 and 4 will be used by One World and Sky Team.

Several other international airports are planning programmes similar to BAA’s.
