Japan Airlines (JAL) has plans to slash 60% of its international routes at Kansai International Airport in Japan following a $1bn loss last quarter.
The airline plans to abolish about 21 international routes and 29 domestic routes, reports Reuters.
JAL intends to stop service between Kansai Airport and London and to Incheon International Airport, Singapore, and Hanoi, Vietnam, by the end of 2009.
