The US’s Austin Straubel Airport is to undertake airport renovation work worth $8.8m.
A new storage building for snow removal equipment will be built using the funds, along with a sand storage building.
A new site entrance road, concrete drive areas and a snow removal vehicle fuelling facility will also be created.
Construction has been scheduled to begin in October 2009 and is expected to complete by October 2010.
