Ireland’s Dublin Airport will improve its security with a new video management system for Terminal 2 from intelligent security solutions provider Meyertech.

The airport-appointed systems integrator SITA has awarded a contract to Meyertech for the project.

The integrated IT system will allow every application, including CCTV, digital recording, access control, alarms, BMS, telephony and passenger screening, to operate on a common network infrastructure.

Camera and recording technology will also be supplied by Meyertech’s partners ADT and Tyco.

The VMS comes with Meyertech’s Fusion2-Core software, which provides management of the digital control rooms and integration of the terminal’s security systems.

The software will be used to integrate CCTV and security with access control, building management and fire alarm systems.
