Dallas Forth Worth (DFW) International Airport is set to become the first US airport to provide vital travel information to passengers via their mobile phone.

The airport is to use the smart phone application TripCase, which has been produced by the software solutions provider Sabre Travel Studios. The application is now available on iPhone and BlackBerry platforms.

The smart phone software allows passengers to track airline, hotel and car rental information and receive automatic updates on gate and bag claim changes.
