The Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) will install SITA’s CUSS (common-use self-service) kiosks at Abu Dhabi International Airport in time for the 2009 Championship Formula One race.
According to the $2.2m, five-year contract, SITA will construct 24 kiosks at the airport’s three terminals and offer continuous maintenance across the critical systems.
ADAC’s vice-president information and communication systems Michael J Ibbitson said the kiosks will provide quicker check-in processes, ensuring higher service levels for airline customers and passengers.
All 24 kiosks will become operational be next month.
