Cairo Airport Unveils Terminal 3 Passenger Facility

Cairo International Airport in Egypt has unveiled the passenger facility at Terminal 3 which can accommodate up to 14 million travellers annually. Cairo's Terminal 3 handles 27 domestic and international airlines that accomodate 11,000 travellers a day on nearly 200 scheduled flights.

Cairo International Airport in Egypt has unveiled the passenger facility at Terminal 3 which can accommodate up to 14 million travellers annually.

Cairo’s Terminal 3 handles 27 domestic and international airlines that accomodate 11,000 travellers a day on nearly 200 scheduled flights.

The airport’s system supplier, ARINC, has installed 14 advanced IT airport and airline traveller technologies including an operational platform that regulates staff access to crucial ramp management and control applications.

ARINC has also installed a customised biometric immigration gate (BIG) system to decrease long security queues and simplify border control processing.
