American firm ASIG has won two aviation fuel service contracts at Washington Dulles International Airport in the US.

ASIG will operate and maintain the jet fuel facility that supplies all of the carriers at the airport. A consortium of 32 airlines selected the company for the deal.

In a second contract, a committee of 23 local, international and airfreight carriers chose the company as their new aircraft refuelling services supplier.

ASIG has set a monthly fuelling target of nearly 10,500 flights.

Operations began on 1 August 2009.
