New Zealand automation firm System Controls is to help install baggage systems at Santiago International Airport in Chile.

The company was awarded the $1.5m contract under the airport’s $10m baggage operations renovation project.

During the past few years, the company has also been working with major Australian airports.

Auckland-based Systems Control specialises in RFID, calibre concrete products, logistics, building management, industrial electronics and automation.
